Dent is a small village in the Yorkshire Dales, although actually in the county of Cumbria. Dentdale is on the far western side of the Dales, only 10 miles from the M6 motorway. The school has 28 children in three classes, aged 4 to 11, many travelling into the village (known locally as 'Dent Town') by minibus or car from up or down the dale.

AIMS: "We at Dent Church of England Primary School aim to create a safe, friendly, caring, stimulating atmosphere where every child has the opportunity to develop their full potential.
This can be achieved by offering the highest standards of teaching, resources and support in a school, which is the focal point of our community.
We believe in a partnership with all those in the community who work and support the school including parents, staff, governors, friends and the Church"
